National Callout is a Critical Mass Media web-based music-testing product providing listener responses and feedback of singles to record labels and radio stations. Critical Mass Media makes phone calls to music consumers who have been screened to fit into predetermined demographic categories. After listening to songs, the responses are rated and ranked to show emotion scores, demographic breakdowns and trends for each song tested.
·Mediabase's Callout Research is conducted every week and fresh updates are posted online every Thursday.
· Tests for each format are conducted on a national basis.
· Number of respondents each week vary, depending on format. See "Avg In-Tab" number located in upped left corner of specific format chart page for total respondents in specific format.
· NO ROLLOVERS. All respondents are fresh each week.
· All respondents are P1s to the specified format.
· All formats test 25-50 current songs, depending on the format's emphasis on current music.
· Every week, every significant new song is selected (significant defined by monitored airplay, or major release) and tested against a national panel.
· In addition to new titles,
recurrents receiving continued significant airplay are also tested.
· Due to research production cycles, allow at least two weeks for results on new music to post.
